Couple of characters, female and male, of which only the busts remain, in terracotta. Originally, the object must have been a votive and ritual urn, from the Sokoto culture, northern Nigeria. It comes from a private collection (Toulouse), had been purchased from the Atelier gallery (Toulouse). This sculpture has a scientific analysis attesting to its age between 2200 and 2800 years. The object is authentic and has no recomposition or restoration except for a few re-glues.
