DESCRIPTION: Beautiful ceremonial piece of furniture in brass boule marquetry on an ebony veneer background, with motifs of scrolls, interlacing, volutes, flowers and bouquets. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes with a large motif on the door, which harmoniously follows the shape of the brass threads, and repeated on the bottom and top. Pair of large falls and low falls, multiple ingot molds. The animated bronzes make all the refinement and interest of this piece of furniture, they bear the mark "PS" of the Roule foundry which operated until 1856 before its destruction by a fire. Mahogany interior with two shelves, top in Pietrasanta breccia marble, very beautiful with its golden, black and gray lines.
