Meissen – Porcelain Incense Burner Vase, 18th Century

Neoclassical potpourri in white MEISSEN porcelain. Taking the form of a covered urn, it has a base decorated with a Greek motif, the belly with garlands of laurel tori connected to the neck by a ribbon knot, the openwork lid topped with a natural seed. Two handles with superb grimacing masks.
Manufacturer's mark with two crossed swords and a point, used in Meissen from 1763.
