A beautiful relic of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, sits in the center of our monstrance in gilded and polychromed wood.
Original drawn glass. Her name evokes light, but she lived in the shadows. Saint Lucy of Syracuse Virgin and martyr in Sicily (+ c. 305) was very popular and her cult dates back to the first centuries. An Italian work from the 18th century in beautiful condition.
