Swedish Porphyry Salt Cellar From ävdalen With Silver Mount, 19th Century
- Porphyry salt cellar resting on a solid silver base with three loop-shaped feet. This base is hallmarked with the following marks CL N (for CL Nordström) / Uddevalla /1897. This is a Swedish porphyry of the "Orlok" type from the Ävdalen deposits and carved at the beginning of the 19th century.
- Composite work, the silver base dates from the end of the 19th century.
