The cylindrical body has a beautiful sobriety of form, underlined by two wide molded borders with friezes of stylized leaves and rows of pearls, at the base as well as at the opening. This classic, precise and clean decoration gives the object a timeless look, suitable for both the table and the cellar. The base is decorated on the reverse with an Italian hallmark for 800 silver and an old original sticker from the house of Leysen Frères. This bottle holder is in very good general condition, with the superficial signs of use visible in the photos. It can accommodate both a bottle of wine and a classic-sized bottle of champagne.
