19th Century Light Wood And Thuya Burl Marquetry Box.
This pretty box is decorated on the top with a marquetry of light wood (maple) composed of floral motifs and foliage on a background of thuya burl. The box curved on four sides is in solid mahogany. The base framed by a molding rests on four turned feet. Very good condition. L/D/H: 32.5 X 23 X 15 cm.
