Office Marquetry System.
Very beautiful desk with rosewood marquetry system in the Louis XV - Louis XVI Transition style, second half of the 19th century. It opens on the front and on the sides with drawers that can be unlocked by actuating locks and pushers located in the side compartments (see photos). The tray lined with green leather reveals three mahogany lockers. The upper part decorated with a gallery opens with two sliding curtains (the lock with its key does not work). It rests on four arched feet ending in bronze hooves. Total depth with the tray open: 88 cms. Work surface: 85 X 65 cms. This very good quality office is in perfect condition.
