Large engraving published by the Goupil publishing house reproducing a painting by George Earl (1824-1910), a famous English painter specializing in the representation of dogs. The scene represents a meeting of hunting dog owners responsible for selecting the most suitable. The print unfortunately has some pinholes, moisture stains mainly at the top in the margin and has been glued to cardboard due to a 6 cm tear in the bottom margin. The dimensions at the plate are 66x85.3 cm and the dimensions of the image are 51.2x75 cm. The engraving is sold as an unframed sheet.
