In a Japonism style, it presents a rarely represented subject which is the turkey cock, our inkwell is finely chiseled, reminds me of the magnificent achievements of the great French animal sculptors of the end of the 19th century such as Barye, Isidore Bonheur, Mène... Beautiful original condition, missing the glasses as is often the case.
