Two Pairs Of Very Important Tieback Holders 1830

Definition:
chiseled and gilded bronze, painted wood.

These amazing tieback holders are in the shape of a dragon descending a wall. The work is done in the medieval spirit. A tieback cord was seized in the ring of the dragon's mouth.
At each tieback holder, a molded wooden plate treated with faux porphyry has been remade, allowing them to be fixed elegantly (easily and securely), as was their original fixing. Tilting rosettes will hide the heads of the fixing screws.
These are exceptional models by their size, by their subject and their movement. Their spectacular Neo Gothic style places them in the decorative spirit of Viollet Le Duc. Condition: Very good condition, they have been regilded with gold. Old repair to a leg (invisible). A missing lobe on a tail has been replaced by a cast (invisible).
