MANUFACTURE NATIONALE DE SÈVRES
A bulbous, lobed porcelain vase with a blue Sèvres ground, decorated with a scattering of small flowers and stylised twigs painted in brilliant gold. The neck, with its undulating rim, and the circular base are enhanced with fine gold fillets.
Marked in green beneath the base with the Sèvres monogram dated 1948, a circular red gilding mark reading ‘MANUFACTURE NATIONALE / DORÉ A SÈVRES’, and incised marks ‘L.M. 3 - 48 - PN’ (manufactured in March 1948 from Pâte Nouvelle).
