Puiforcat : Art Nouveau Vermeil Sterling Silver Strawberry Serving Set - Iris Pattern

Sublime Solid Silver and Vermeil (Gold on Silver) Strawberry Serving Set from the ART NOUVEAU period c.1900 by PUIFORCAT in the extremely rare model called IRIS. The 2 pieces (sugar sifter spoon and a strawberry server) are decorated with sinuous Iris motifs, and note the masterfully crafted end of the Strawberry Server with its bi-color acid etched decor. Very finely crafted from the highest quality siver, each piece is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard (.950)  hallmark, and mark of Master Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT (Hallmark with the initials "EP" and a penknife). This sublime ART NOUVEAU Strawberry Service in the rare IRIS pattern by Puiforcat is in excellent condition, revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, presented in its original fitted box, and only the lightest signs of use to note.
