A very beautiful 18th-century stew spoon in solid silver, “filet” style.
A significant piece by master silversmith Jean Affre, commissioned for Auch in Toulouse on July 1, 1754.
Good condition; a few minor nicks on the bowl, but no warping or flattening; normal wear and tear.
Master’s hallmarks.
No monogram.
