Vincent Roux (1928-1991) A Young Lady Looking In A Mirror. Large Oil On Canvas Painting
This beautiful oil painting by Vincent Roux depicts a young lady looking in the mirror. Created in the 1920s, this piece is a wonderful representation of character and gender. The painting is an Oil on Canvas. The artist's signature (Vincent Roux) is visible on the bottom right hand side of the painting , Presented in superb condition ready to hang.

Bio:
Vincent Roux was born in Marseille on the 1st December 1928. After secondary school, he entered the Ecole nationale des beaux-arts of Marseille. During his time there he received the Torrents prize for painting in 1951 and the Claverie prize in the following year. In 1953, he joined the Académie Julian in Paris. Albert Gleizes was his main mentor at the Académie but Brianchon, Dunoyer de Segonzac, MacAvoy and Matisse were also amongst his teachers. From then on, he divided his time between Saint Tropez, Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Venice.
