Antique Continental 900 Solid Silver Repousse Floral Jardiniere Centerpiece Bowl

Constructed from solid 900-purity silver, as indicated by the "900" hallmark stamped on the base alongside a "WM" maker's mark. The exterior body features an overall repoussé and chased decorative scheme, displaying high-relief floral clusters—including roses and daisies—interspersed with flowing acanthus leaves and foliate scrolls.The rim is characterized by a contoured, scalloped edge with an integrated chased border. Two cast foliate scroll handles are applied to the raised ends of the bowl, curling outward to create a decorative profile. It is supported by four applied cast feet, each modeled with foliate and scroll motifs that extend from the base of the bowl. The metal displays a natural aged patina and light surface scratches consistent with an antique object of this age.
