A very beautiful late 19th century drop-leaf secretary by Charles Bernel in Paris. The piece of furniture is of very high quality and has a straight rectangular shape, with inclined corners. The doors and sides are inlaid with marquetry in different woods and decorated with gilt bronze mounts. The lower doors are sliding. The top of the furniture is in red marble and needs to be restored. (broken on a vein in the marble)
