Antinous, D Brucciani
A fine large highly decorative painted plaster bust by Dominic Brucciani and Co. numbered and stamped with the maker's name. D Brucciani were a 19th century company specialising in the production of reproductions of classical sculpture, many of which are from the British Museum. Antinous was a contemporary of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. Height is 72cm. Width at the shoulders approximately 54cm. Condition is good with no visible damage or restoration.
