Barbedienne Bronze Eagle
Fine 19th century French bronze eagle by Barbedienne. Typical quality as with everything that comes from this foundry. This piece is illustrated in the Barbedienne catalog of 1886, entitled "Aigle" (a copy can be provided if interested). Beautiful rich brown patina. Stamped "Barbedienne Fondeur" and also with the "Collas" reduction seal.
