The Valencian painter Federico Olaria Torres, was born in Calle del Común, number 18, in the heart of the populous Barrio de Pescadores that disappeared at the end of the 19th century, on December 3, 1848. He studied at the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos in his hometown. He died in Paris in 1898.
