Limoges porcelain dish from the J. Balleroy workshop with gold highlights on a midnight blue background with a painted decoration in the center representing a candlelight reading scene. Signed Balleroy. Decoration made by the Balleroy et C° decoration workshops located at 44 rue de Chateauroux in Limoges and bears its stamp in manganese red.
