Cuirassier Helmet And Troop Breastplate Second Empire

Cuirassier troop cuirass model 1858, second empire. In iron melted. The base has a flared shape.  Each of the two straps has a body in black cowhide, trimmed with two brass chains, the port is finished with a brass buttonhole plate. The brass strap holder with three banks. Leather belt to restore. The bust and the breastplate are marked "Manufacture impériale de Châtellerault January 1858, 2 size and matriculated 755.

The helmet of the Belgian battleship, model 1845 bomb, visor and nape in nickel silver edged with a brass reed, punched bomb, numbered 170 and dated V 1851, crest in faded brass decorated with foliage, drops and gadroons, Marmousset with black horsehair tuft, front decorated with a large lion's muzzle, stamped brass chinstrap, with scales, brass bosses decorated with a silver grenade, black horsehair mane, it is presented with a red plume.
