A typical Dutch scene painting, certainly Schiedam, produced during his trip to the Netherlands, village scene in gouache and watercolor on paper, representing characters in uniform period during their activities (called Klederdracht) and windmills.
Signed lower right.
In fairly good condition, some discoloration of the paper but the gouache is still vivid.
It sits in a gilded wooden frame with passe-partout under glass. Some small nicks to the frame.
