Antique tan leather fire bucket from an English country house, with its original rolled leather carrying handle and hessian-lined interior. The front is decorated with the colorful royal coat of arms.
This example was intended for use as a fire extinguisher, powered by water from a nearby river or fountain, before the creation of the fire brigade.
Beautiful amber shades to the tan leather, superb patina of use and good overall condition.
