A rare and large Empire-style cut crystal perfume bottle, likely by Baccarat but unsigned, covered in gilt bronze.
The classic decoration features winged sphinxes and dancers with various attributes, surrounded by cornucopias and acanthus leaves.
The stopper is adorned with the imperial eagle and a laurel wreath, symbols of the Emperor's power and authority.
In very good overall condition, with normal wear to the gilt bronze and one or two tiny fleebites on the cut crystal.
