Legras, Vase Decorated With Wisteria
Vase with long tulip neck and flared base with acid-etched decoration of purple wisteria with bronze leaves. Signed Legras in cameo. The wisteria flower is one of the most popular floral decorations in Legras and constitutes a series in itself. Always purple with bronze leaves, they slide along vases of all shapes, head down, their foliage wrapping around the body and the foliage always finishing the decoration at the neck. The signature systematically used is that of "Legras" in cameo. Vase listed in the catalog raisonné - Legras Verrier by Marie-Françoise & Jean François Michel - Nelly Fouchet - Dominique and Jean Vitrat
