Vase Daum Aux Solanées, Belle étoile Glassware, Circa 1920, Galle Art-nouveau Era
Artist: Paul Daum, Verrerie Belle étoile
Charming solanea vase by Paul Daum at the Belle étoile glassworks.
A remarkably colorful piece, with a fine decoration of enameled solanea on a rare 2-tone background, honey at the base and pink at the top. This is what makes it so interesting.
Beautiful form on piedouche with neck clamp, very elegant.
Height: 29 cm, very good condition, signed "Mado", an anagram of Daum.
These pieces were made at the Belle Etoile glassworks near Luneville under the governance of Paul Daum in the 1920's.
Very beautiful, elegant and luminous!
