Biedermeier walnut armchair
Elegant armchair in walnut wood, from the Venetian area, made in the first half of the 19th century, around 1820. The sober and harmonious line is typical of Biedermeier production, with a slightly curved backrest and shaped armrests.
The armchair is in good condition, with normal signs of wear consistent with its age. It has undergone a conservative restoration that included surface cleaning, shellac and wax polishing, as well as recent reupholstering of the seat and armrests.
