Kabuto - Period Edo (1603-1868)

Hineno Zunari type helmet, composed of five flat plates, one of which forms a lacquered visor on the reverse. Maedate in gilded metal, representing a closed moon, with neck guard (hineno-shikoro) with five brown lacquered leaves connected by dark blue sugake-odoshi cords, and two small fukigaeshi, enhancing the ends of the upper plate.

Period Edo (1603-1868) - 18th century.
