Pair of large candelabra with 3 lights Silver-plated bronze Napoleon III period, late 19th century H. 40; diameter. 40 cm This very beautiful pair of candelabra rests on a circular scrolled foot in the shape of a so-called "arbalette". The barrel, resting on an ogee base, has a ternary decoration with a naturalistic shell in the center in a berain decoration. Le Binet supports the bouquet with three arms of light, an icon of the Regency. This model, remarkable for its quality of cast iron, the thickness of the gilding, and the quality of its carving, is directly inspired by productions from the 1730s. Through its naturalist repertoire found in the treatment of shells and acanthus, it is a very beautiful model consistent with the productions of the time.
