"Jules Dalou: Eve, Bronze Sculpture, Signed, 19th Century"
Beautiful bronze, signed Dalou on base, late 19th century, astonishing little sculpture, dream body, like  ancient Venus, but showing the hesitation of young woman, with wet finger, to choose the forbidden apple, which she inspects in her left hand.

Jules Dalou, born in Paris on December 31, 1838 and died in the same city on April 15, 1902, is a French sculptor endowed with an extraordinary talent and work force, which life, la Commune, exile have shaken up a lot.
