Circa 1865-1870 France French Cashmere Shawl woven in Lancé Découpé from the famous Parisian Manufacture of Frédéric Hébert dating from the end of the Second Empire around 1870. So-called "rich" shawl woven in 9 colors of very great finesse which was the mark of Maison Hébert factory. A black star reserve is signed "H Cachemire Pur" in orientalist letters. Drawing with four large multi-lobed arches at Mirhab stylized and framed by a Greek frieze. Beautiful finesse of the graphics with plant decoration and slender curves, announcing Art Nouveau. Harlequin fringes on two sides. Piece of collection. No moth holes or dirt. Shawl in exceptional condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 359 cm x 155 cm plus 6 cm of fringes
