Jacques Courtejoie is a Belgian photographer born in Congo in 1949. He lives in Brussels and has exhibited his work since 1976, notably at the Espace Photographgraphique Contretype (Brussels), at the Museum of Modern Art in Liège, at the Museum voor Fotographie in Antwerp , at the Charleroi Museum of Photography, at the Ixelles Museum, at the Brakke Grond in Amsterdam, at the National Center of Photography in Paris, at the ULB Museum of Contemporary Art (Brussels), in Japan… His works are part of numerous public and private collections in France and abroad. Work from polaroid photos, cut out, superimposed, rephotographed. In this work we see several self-portraits. Provenance: FIAC 2005 Original frame.
