Empire Empire Period

Exceptional and very rare, Psyche from the Empire period. Important "psyche mirror" in mahogany and mahogany veneer, base decorated with a rectangular plain, upright flanked by two spectacular columns cushioned by two square bases. High quality and very fine bronze, mercury gilding. Probably delivered by a large Parisian workshop. We find the same bronzes on a pair of candelabras delivered by Thomire. Parisian work of very high quality from the Empire period. Condition report: To be restored, (sold as is) Original glass, wear to the gilding, cracks, missing veneer. Depth 49 cm width 117 cm Height 183 cm Note: Notice to collectors and fans of Napoleon Bonaparte. This spectacular mirror, right in the era of the first empire, will perhaps be a major piece of your collection, your entrance, your living room, or even will blend in with your modern interior. The rigor of the symmetry, the sharp angles, and the architecture of this piece of furniture give it great elegance. We can already imagine it fitting into the lobby of a large hotel, a castle, or a beautiful Parisian apartment. Notice to decorators and private collectors. Note: repurchase of an old item possible. To discuss together. At your disposal to exchange.
