DESCRIPTION: This large Napoleon III period box is made up of fine brass boulle marquetry, bone and a few touches of pewter at the corners. The central cartridge is inlaid with rosewood, as are the side uprights, playing on the colors gold, black and brown. It has 4 bronze feet, two handles, and a key entry. very nice dimensions for this large, refined and quite impressive box. Key not functional.
