Kroken Armchair By Ake Fribyter

Artist: Ake Fribyter
Elegant and comfortable KROKEN armchair made in 1974 by Ake Fribyter, Swedish architect and decorator born in 1922 and died in 1998. He worked for Carl Malmsten in the early 1950s and with Ingvar Carlsson he created the Mysengen furniture series in 1961. He also designed the Classic chair for Gemla Möbler AB and the famous KROKEN armchair for Nelo Möbler in 1974. This seat is made of multi-curved wood and lacquered in black with a seat in stretched leather and fixed to the frame by strapping. Very comfortable and solid, this fireside chair is timeless and will fit into any type of interior.
