Bust Of Saint Baroque.... Fashionable...
I DID NOT KNOW THAT FASHION WEEK HAD ITS PATRON SAINT... Extraordinary monoxyl bust painted with the effigy of a pious Benedictine (or another order dependent on Rome...), wearing a remarkable tonsure. Extraordinary because we could compare it to a horse's head Extraordinary because we read, carved in hollow S.MODE, but no matter how much I searched, Saint Mode is not included in my pantheons... Surprising the place where This name is engraved and does not seem apparent if the bust is placed above a breastplate. Surprising because the back side is flat, as if it were an element of an altarpiece (or a statue intended for a pillar). Surprising the style of the ears, I don't know the origin. In short, superb religious object, of popular art rather baroque than fashion...
