Rolex Oyster watch model 4499 from 1946
Steel case 34mm in diameter excluding original crown stamped Oyster Patent.
Gold hands and indexes mounted in applique.
Equipped with a Rolex 15-jewel mechanical movement with manual winding and a power reserve of 36 hours.
Movement recently cleaned and in perfect working order.

Please note: The closure of the Oyster crown holds after 1 quarter turn, if you try to tighten it reopens and returns to its initial position. You simply need to adjust the external threaded rod which is slightly retracted into the housing. Perfectly usable and functional as is.

The watch is completely original and in excellent condition.
Screwed bottom.
The small scratches visible on the glass and the case in the photos are much less visible naturally, the effect is accentuated by the lighting.
The dial and hands are in good condition and have a few small stains visible in the photos which should go away after a good cleaning if you wish, but I prefer it like that!
Good quality ostrich-style leather strap (18mm) worn 3 times with Rolex pin.
Keeps time perfectly, very good working condition.
