Lovely and rare Louis XVI tea box in solid silver with the guarantee hallmarks of the city of Amsterdam for the year 1796. The PVR master goldsmith hallmark is that of Pieter van Reidt (active 1784-1801). It is in perfect state of conservation. Quite heavy quality. The key has disappeared but the lock is still there. Weight 345 grams
