Very beautiful oil, fragment of a monumental canvas, representing two women in full confidence. 18th century or earlier. In a more recent blackened wooden frame (slight missing top left). Note the assembly of two canvases, which suggests the size of the original work. The "sewing" is much less visible in reality than in my photographs, which also struggle to convey the atmosphere emanating from this painting, which is preferable to discover firsthand. Dimensions at sight: 49 x 56 cm. Overall dimensions: 73 x 64.
