"Disguised Character" Oil on canvas signed Jan VAN BEERS (1852-1927) and dated 1879. Painter of portraits and genre scenes. Settled in Paris, where he enjoyed the social success brought by the graceful representation of Parisian frivolities. Works in the Museums of Antwerp, Brussels, Lier and Tournai. Good condition relined. Dimensions with frame: 67cm x 59cm Dimensions without frame: 46cm x 37cm
