"19th-century Earthenware Tripod Spice Box Decorated With Animals"
A tripod spice box decorated with dog heads at the base of the feet, and three handles on the lid, one in the shape of a snake and the other a duck. Origin undetermined, possibly Southern France. First half of the 19th century. Dimensions: height 10.5 cm - width 14.5 cm. Good overall condition. Minor flaw in the lid's fit. There are some chips on the tips of the containers and on the central motif of the lid, and a restoration visible in photographs 6 and 7.
