The oil painting on canvas depicts a Magistrate dressed in the usual black toga with a white bib and white lace sleeves protruding from it. His right hand rests on his hip while his left hand holds a folded sheet of paper. In the background we find a bookcase covered with red drapery. The interesting character portrayed in his studio boasts a very self-confident and vaguely haughty expression. Contemporary frame.
