Philibert Cockx (Ixelles, 1879 - 1949) is a Belgian painter and etcher. He participated in the avant-garde movements of the early 20th century. In the company of Auguste Oleffe, the leader of the Brabançon Fauvists, he attended the free workshop “l'Effort” with Rik Wouters, Jos Albert, Anne- Pierre de Kat, Jehan Frison, Marcel Jefferys, Willem Paerels, Ferdinand Schirren and others.
