The bronze is complete. Note a slight scratch on the back. Present at the Salons of French Artists of which he is a Member, since the Salon of 1883, he has received numerous official commissions, which can today be admired throughout the world. Such as the pair of bison which adorns the hall of the Manitoba Legislative Building in Winnipeg (Canada), the two Lions of the Palacio Laranjeiras in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), or more surprisingly, the Lion of Judah Monument on Churchill Avenue in Addis- Abeba (Ethiopia). Thus we can admire his Deer at rest in the Jardin des Plantes in Nantes, and in the Jardin des Plantes in Ivry-sur-Seine his Elephant attacked by a tiger (1910). In Paris, we find his Lion in the Jardin du Luxembourg, or his Vautour (1896) in the Jardin des Plantes. The Alexandre III bridge is decorated with its Lion and Child (1900). Museums are not left out, which exhibit many of its sculptures. Thus, the Laval Science Museum holds two of his works, a Tiger attacking a turtle and a Bison attacked by a jaguar. That of Dieppe offers its visitors a Mouse with a Snail (1892), while that of Orsay, in Paris, exhibits a Panther devouring a sheep (1907).
