Aubusson tapestry, greenery with coat of arms, 18th century.

- Wool and silk tapestry. This ancient weaving offers us a window open onto lush nature. The landscape is broken down into several planes which follow one another harmoniously; a first where a stretch of water, with a sinuous outline, leads the eye to the following shots, taking us through a dense forest and seeing fortifications in the distance, on heights. The presence of animals enlivens the composition; a cane followed by two ducklings and a bird perched in one of the trees on the right.

- This tapestry is enriched with an original border of foliage, punctuated with flowers and decorated with moving foliage motifs at each corner. The specificity of this greenery is its original border with coat of arms which goes beyond the frame to reach the central field, the impression of relief is reinforced. The coat of arms is composed of two oval shields joined together and surmounted by a count's crown. The left shield is decorated with a chevron accompanied by three bezants, 2 in chief, 1 in point. The one on the right has a single pattern; that of a closed tent (coat of arms not identified to date).
