Old Louis XIV Tortoiseshell Boulle Marquetry Writing Case Bronze Inkwell Cylinder
Rare 19th century writing desk in Boulle marquetry, richly decorated with interlacing and rosette, the top cylinder shape, revealing three slots for mail/paper. The flap opening onto a writing desk covered in green velvet. Beautiful model complete with its two inkwells and its key (the lock works but does not close).
