"Marquetry Writing Table. Louis XV Period."
Rare curved living room table on the front opening with three drawers, the first forming a writing desk containing its leather tablet and its silver metal inkwell. (missing the lock of the third drawer). Furniture in rosewood and rosewood marquetry highlighted with a light wood strip on all four sides. The four nicely curved legs are connected by a shelf and rest on bronze casters. Top in Aleppo breccia (slight chip on the edge see last photo). Furniture in very good condition and furnished with its original gilded bronzes. Parisian work circa 1760 - 1770.
