Created by one of the founding members of the Hague School, this lovely painting on a mahogany panel is monogrammed in red ADW for Anthonie Waldorp. Collector's wax seal on the back of the panel. Period giltwood frame. Early period of the artist. Circa 1820 - 1830 before his famous marine paintings.
