France NIII period : “Naturalist covered cup”, bronze with golden and silver patina, approximately 12 x 16 x 10 cm, a monogram “VFB” or “VEB” engraved under the pedestal. Slightly worn patina on the lid. This charming covered cup or bezel draws its inspiration from Nature, both for the plant frieze around the edge and for the underside of the cup with leaves alternating with flowers, but even more so by the beetles decorating the handles connected by chains to the body of the cup and the lizard perched on the socket, already announcing Art-Nouveau.
